REDEEMER ST. JOHN’S STAFF

Ms. Holly serves as the Director of RSJ Nursery School.  She holds a Master’s Degree with Dual Certification in Early Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities – Birth to Grade 2. She enjoys helping RSJ’s littlest friends grow to love school, learn to be a good friend, and explore the world around them. In her free time, she loves cheering on her sons’ high school sports teams and warm days at the beach.

Ms. Vanessa is our new PreK 3 teacher and a wonderful addition to our team.  She brings a gentle spirit and remarkable creativity to the PreK 3 classroom. Her fun and engaging lessons taught the children how to make fresh squeezed lemonade for the letter L and home-made jam for the letter J.  In her free time, she is often found at Bear Park with her daughters making friends with parents and neighborhood kids alike. 

Ms. Jen has been with Redeemer St. John’s Nursery School for many years, since her own children were enrolled here. She served first as Parent Volunteer, then Board Representative, and now as Assistant Teacher in the 3K Classroom. She help our littlest friends stay clean, organized and on schedule. In her free time, Jen is all about spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Kristen is the lead teacher for our UPK classroom. Kristen holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fordham University. Kristen’s attentive and caring heart encourages our Pre-K 4 children to grow and discover new strengths and interests. In her class, children learn through play while having fun. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, reading thrillers, biking, hiking, and traveling.

Ms. Kari has been the UPK para since the program’s inception in September 2014. When Kari was little, she also attended Redeemer St. John’s Nursey school. When she isn’t working with our students, Kari enjoys spending time with her family in Breezy Point and skiing in the winter in Windham, NY.

Ms. Sveta has long-time ties with our Nursery school, first as a parent, then helping as a substitute teacher in our classrooms. Recently, she joined our team as the School’s Office Coordinator. Sveta’s Master’s of Business Administration in Accounting ensures our school runs smoothly, keeps our records up to date and in compliance. She is usually busy with her family, raising her 5 children, but when she has free time she loves reading and doing photography.
