WELCOME!

Our nursery school was established by Redeemer Lutheran Church in 1972 and continued to thrive and grow when Redeemer and St. John’s Lutheran Churches merged in 1975. Through the years, the school has served the community and enjoyed a fine reputation.

We are licensed by the New York City Department of Health and contract with the New York City Department of Education as a community based organization to provide free 3K and Pre-K For All.

OUR SPACE

We are lucky to be located on a spacious lot in on a quiet, residential block in Dyker Heights, very close to Bay Ridge. Our students enjoy a private playground, a grassy area for running and games, and a covered patio which doubles as an outdoor classroom in nice weather. In our front yard, we have a children’s garden in which we grow vegetables and flowers in the spring.

Some of the programs and activities we are able to do due to the generous size of our classrooms and premises include:

• Four Performances for Family and Friends on our classroom stage

• Monthly Enrichment including Quiver Farms, Baby Chicks, Urban Steam Lab, Wild Life Zoo, and more!
